KNOBS can be ordered to match BLOCKPRINTS or decor of your choosing. Thanks! ...............................................
When it comes to geometric shapes, I like squares. This is evident in my work: I paint on one-inch cubes, and the Time Zero prints I use for Polaroid Manipulations are square.
Gallow's Bay Hardware on St Croix, USVI, is where I first discovered square wooden knobs. It makes perfect sense to me that I'd find them in that marvelous store, with its narrow aisles and mind-boggling number of bins containing little items.
I have marketed the KNOBS through The Top Drawer, in Cary, NC. The KNOBS can be purchased individually, or paired with matching BLOCK PRINTS.
My process for producing KNOBS begins with treating the bare wood with sealant. I paint with durable oils and finish with several coats of polyurethane, sanding in between coats. This insures the decorative KNOBS will hold up to heavy use on cabinets and drawers.
